Nota biograficzna:
The editors: Manfred Kochsiek and Michael Gläser, both German National Metrology Institute (PTB). Former vice president Professor Kochsiek is in active retirement and still keeps many appointments in charge of the PTB. Dr. Gläser is project leader in the department of technology transfer where new technologies are offered for branches outside of pure metrology.
The authors: experts in their fields from leading international universities, independent research institutes and national institutes (NIST, PTB).
