Nota biograficzna:
Paolo Samori is Full Professor at the Institute of Supramolecular Science and Engineering (ISIS) of the University of Strasbourg, France, and Director of the Nanochemistry Laboratory at ISIS. After his PhD in Chemistry from the Humboldt University Berlin, Germany, he was permanent research scientist at the National Research Council in Bologna, Italy. His research interests span applications of scanning probe microscopies, supramolecular electronics and the fabrication of molecular–scale nanodevices. Paolo Samori has received numerous awards, including the IUPAC Prize for Young Chemists 2001 and the Vincenzo Caglioti award by the National Academy of Lynxes, Italy.
Franco Cacialli is Professor at the Department of Physics and Astronomy of University College London, UK, and a member of the London Centre for N
anotechnology. He obtained his PhD from the University of Pisa, Italy, before joining the Optoelectronics group of Sir Richard Friend at the Department of Physics of the University of Cambridge. As a Royal Society University Research Fellow Franco Cacialli worked on the electrical and optical properties of organic semiconductors. His research focuses on supramolecular architectures and optical nanolithography.
