Genito–Urinary Medicine for Nurses

The editors have drawn together contributions from twelve practising GU nurses to provide a detailed description of GU conditions and the role of the GU nurse. Among the topics covered are: cytology and colposcopy, contact tracing, syphilis, gonorrhoea, chlamydia, pelvic inflammatory disease, bacterial vaginosis, genital warts and HIV/AIDS. By sharing information and the first–hand experiences of GU nurses from clinics around England and Wales it is hoped that this book will help to improve the quality of care given to patients attending GU departments.
