This book is novel in that it shows how to carry out the end–to–end approach to adaptation and management to climate change, explaining assumptions and limitations at every step of the process.  It also delves into the area of robust decision–making under conditions of deep uncertainty not only now but also the future, as climate models continue to develop.
This book endeavours to see the models for what they are and show how the information contained in them can be used effectively. The quantitative assessment of the impact of climate change on water availability and water resources management requires knowledge of climate, hydrological/ hydrogeological and water resources models, and particularly the relationships between each of them.
