Psychology is one of the most popular undergraduate majors in the United States today; however, students often remain confused about the different opportunities available to them in their chosen field of study. Not surprisingly, this lack of information can have devastating consequences, which can affect a student’s motivation and lead to a general dissatisfaction with the major. Majoring in Psychology: Achieving Your Educational and Career Goals provides students with the essential information required to overcome any hurdles in the pursuit of a psychology degree.
With backgrounds in both academia and licensed psychology practice, the book’s co–authors present clear, concise, research–based information on the major subfields in the discipline and the strategies to employ for a successful undergraduate major. Making sure that students are fully prepared for graduate school or the job market after graduation, the authors instill a deeper and more informed perspective on the discipline and its associated opportunities.
Majoring in Psychology: Achieving Your Educational and Career Goals is an invaluable resource for anyone at the outset of a career in psychology.
