Frederick Burwick, Professor Emeritus at UCLA, has taughtcourses on Romantic drama and directed student performances of adozen plays. He is the author or editor of 26 books including The Theatre Journal of John Waldie (2008) and RomanticDrama: Acting and Reacting (2009). Burwick has been namedDistinguished Scholar by both the British Academy (1992) and theKeats–Shelley Association (1998).

Nancy Moore Goslee, Professor of English andDistinguished Humanities Professor Emerita at the University ofTennessee, has published in three broad areas: inter–artscomparisons, Scott′s poetry and the cross–cultural links betweenScottish and English Romanticism, and feminist–inflected criticismof Romantic poets. Her books include Shelley s VisualImagination (2011), Scott the Rhymer (1988), andUriel′s Eye: Miltonic Stationing and Statuary in RomanticEpic (1985).

Diane Long Hoeveler, Professor of English at MarquetteUniversity, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has published in the areas of thegothic and religious transformations, romanticism and gender, andwomen writers in the nineteenth century. She is author of GothicRiffs: Secularizing the Uncanny in the European Imaginary,1780 1820 (2010), Gothic Feminism (1998), andRomantic Androgyny (1990).
