Designing and Implementing Global Selection Systems provides the practical management tools for planning and implementing an effective global staffing system. Initial chapters point out the special challenges inherent in developing and implementing a global selection system and identify the basic principles that should be incorporated when evaluating your own selection processes. How common cultural differences impact employee selection is then discussed, followed by a brief overview of legal issues that should be considered when designing a global selection system. Final chapters put it all together to describe the most effective "best practices" strategies to design and implement a global selection system. Designing and Implementing Global Selection Systems is an essential guide for human resource management that will help companies bridge the cultural divide in the globally integrated world of the twenty–first century.
