Nota biograficzna:
Dai Jones is Deputy Head of the Department of Natural and Social Sciences at the University of Gloucestershire, and lectures on the psychology and sociology degrees. He is co–author of History and Theories of Psychology, and contributed four chapters on Historical and Conceptual Issues to Davey’s (2004) Complete Psychology. He is the consultant editor to BPS Blackwell for books on Historical and Conceptual Issues in Psychology. His teaching and research interests include history and theories of psychology, psychology and society, and pedagogy.
Dr. Philip Tyson is a senior lecturer in psychology at the University of Gloucestershire. Prior to that he was a research associate in the department of psychiatry at the University of Hull, where he conducted wide ranging research into schizophrenia. He has an extensive publication record in the area of mental health, and an extensive lecturing background at GCSE, AS, A2, undergraduate and postgraduate level.
Jonathan Elcock is a senior lecturer and chair of psychology at the University of Gloucestershire. He also works as a researcher with the Kingshill Research Centre in Swindon. He is co–author of History and Theories of Psychology, and has written chapters for other edited collections. He has appeared as a consulting psychologist on television and local radio. His teaching interests include history and theories of psychology, and critical social psychology from a social constructionist perspective.
