Recent years have seen rapid changes in the ways in which music is produced, disseminated and received. This volume brings together leading theorists in order to explore what these changes mean for music education in the new millennium. David K. Lines is Associate Head of Music (Research) at the University of Auckland. He is actively involved in music education, arts curriculum research, development and implementation in New Zealand schools, and also performs and composes contemporary jazz fusion music.
