Allison was appointed as Vice President of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI) for 2014–2016 and Secretary/President Elect of the CT/MRI Society of the American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR) for 2013–2015. She serves as a reviewer for Veterinary Radiology & Ultrasound, Veterinary Surgery, and Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association.
