Habib Davanloo is the founder and pioneer of Intensive Short–Term Dynamic Psychotherapy, which is taught and practised at institutes of psychotherapy worldwide. His scientific and systematic research of the past few decades, combined with a number of discoveries, has led to the development of his comprehensive new psychology of the unconscious mind based on neurobiological pathways of human emotions and major revision of the metapsychology of the unconscious.
Intensive Short–Term Dynamic Psychotherapy offers theoretical, metapsychological and technical knowledge which can be used with extraordinary precision to gain access to the psychopathological dynamic forces responsbile for the patient′s symptoms and character disturbances.
