Praise for Make Money Work for You–Instead of You Working for It
"Whether using a broker or going it alone, successful investors today are required to understand how companies work and make money. This book provides a solid basis for investors to stay on track, even in times when markets are seemingly irrational. Focusing on the fundamentals is an excellent strategy for maintaining the discipline required to accumulate wealth."
—Salene Hitchcock–Gear, President and CEO, Ameritas Investment Corp.
"Make Money Work for You . . . is a must–read for both experienced and new investors. It offers an excellent guide to fundamental analysis and trading strategies useful to investors."
—Francisco De Jesus, general partner, Pacesetter Capital Group
"Make Money Work for You is an impressive new book, written by a professional money manager. It brings the knowledge of Wall Street money managers to the average investor. When dutifully applied, the lessons in this book will help create a consciousness that can lead to economic self–empowerment."
—Mayor Willie L. Brown Jr., former mayor of San Francisco President of Willie Brown Institute, CalPERS Board of Trustees (member)
"After a rough and tumble opening to the current decade, the world of financial guidebooks could not ask for a more timely release than Bill Thomason′s work. His guide brims with the type of common sense we would all love to get ahold — the type of inside knowledge you would normally have access to only if you had a money–manager friend. Thomason provides valuable focus on the basics and gives his audience a well–focused understanding of the financial markets and ways investing and saving can make a difference in life. His book ranks high on my reading list."
—James Anderson, CUNY Journalism Professor and author of the Black Enterprise Guide to Investing
