Praise for Practical Financial Management
"Dmitri Faguet′s Practical Financial Management is a comprehensive and invaluable tool for financial managers. The book covers key issues critical to financial management including Excel–based programs pertinent to day–to–day business applications. Faguet bridges the gap between theory and practical application, effectively guiding financial managers to daily business success."
–Shunichi Inaba, Senior Manager, Mizuho Financial Group
"Dmitri Faguet is well aware of current events in the changing world and is the most qualified person to write a modern book on practical financial management."
–Jean L. Gonthiez, French industrialist
"This is an outstanding work destined to become an everyday handbook of practical financial managers. It is simple in its presentation of complex financial concepts that are vital for forecasting, monitoring, and correction of daily activities of modern business. The book gives a reader pragmatic tools based on common sense and sharp analysis. It is stimulating reading for anyone aspiring to become a successful financial manager."
–Dmitry Levin, Global Boardroom Solutions
"As the author writes: ′a good financial manager does not live in a vacuum but in a real working company.′ This book helps the financial manager plan so that the company divisions can jointly achieve their goals. The author′s international background provides practical insight into the traps awaiting the unwary in today′s trans–border trading, while he shows us how to analyze all phases of a company′s operations by example."
–C. William Gear, President Emeritus, NEC Research Institute
