PETER J. HAGER, PhD, is an associate professor who teaches in the Technical and Scientific Communication Program of the Department of English at James Madison University.
H.J. SCHEIBER, PhD, is a communications consultant at Hoffman–LaRoche, Inc. He is a former associate professor of rhetoric and communication at the Florida Institute of Technology, where he designed and directed the Master of Science Program in Technical and Professional Communication.
