The immense legal, financial and efficiency implications of workplace health have put it at the very top of the corporate agenda. Exploring the interface between organizational and health psychology, the International Handbook of Work and Health Psychology is the definitive reference to this rapidly growing field. With expert international contributors and new chapters in areas such as positive psychology, well–being, gender differences and older workers, the Third Edition presents the key research behind our understanding of what influences health and wellbeing at work, and links it with current practice. Exploring contemporary concerns about how work is changing and the challenges of managing such change, the International Handbook of Work and Health Psychology, Third Edition points the way forward for healthier work organizations. It is an essential resource for students, researchers and practitioners in organizational psychology, health psychology and occupational medicine, and an invaluable source of practical insights for HR professionals and policymakers in the field.
