Consultancy and Advising in Forensic Practice addresses the current lack of literature relevant to undertaking a consultancy role within a forensic setting. Simultaneously drawing upon expertise from academia, business consultancy and administration, this edited volume presents the modern theoretical underpinnings of the consultancy process and applies a clear, practical approach that is targeted specifically at forensic issues and contexts.
Topics covered include the application of consultancy to operational crisis situations, and the role of the consultant in advisory capacities relevant to organisational effectiveness, such as strategic direction, cultural change, staff performance, and the management, development, implementation and evaluation of substantive organisational projects. Chapters draw on professional experience as well as formal literature, combining psychological, ethical, managerial and evaluative aspects into themed summaries that enhance the reader’s understanding and signpost directions for further study and practice development.
