At once, The Truth is refreshingly candid and deeply insightful. June Bradham is without peer in her ability to understand volunteer boards, and this understanding creates for us all more meaningful relationships and far more successful organizations. All boards and staff can use this book well...and for good."
—Paula Harper Bethea, Chair Emeritus, United Way of America′s Board of Governors, Director, External Relations, McNair Law Firm, PA
"The Truth does an outstanding job of dispelling the myths about working with boards that can often jeopardize our fundraising success. The stories are compelling and should serve as a ′textbook′ for all of us who rely on the involvement and commitment of our board members to raise funds."
—Timothy R. Burcham, CFRE, former International Board Chairman, Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Vice President, Kentucky Community and Technical College System
"In The Truth, June Bradham provides meaningful insight for those seeking to better collaborate with their boards while making a lasting contribution to the sector itself. As she always does, June helps us see more clearly and turn insight into positive action."
—Rachel Hutchisson, Corporate Relations & Philanthropy, Blackbaud, Inc.
"Few others can inspire and capture the inherent potential in volunteer boards like June Bradham. Her well–framed interviews and seasoned insights create an unparalleled gift for philanthropic organizations and their leaders."
—J. Gregory Pope, CFRE, FAHP, Chair Elect, Association for Healthcare Philanthropy International Board; Chief Development Officer, Saint Thomas Health Services
"June accurately illustrates the myriad personalities, purposes, and passions that make up a board. Understanding what drives them as individuals is vital to their experience and the organization′s success."
—Betty St ilwell, President, Methodist Health Foundation
