The most comprehensive text on state–of–the–art aerosol measurement methods
Drawing on the know–how of numerous leading experts, Aerosol Measurement: Principles, Techniques, and Applications, Third Edition provides a solid grasp of aerosol measurement fundamentals and presents a wide variety of measurement techniques and their real–world applications. Aerosol measurement has assumed critical importance in many fields including industrial hygiene, public health and epidemiology, atmospheric science, climate research, material science, powder technology, nanotechnology, filtration, particle toxicology, and medicine. As a result, the need to conduct reliable aerosol measurement has increased dramatically in recent years, making this new edition more valuable than ever.
The revised and expanded third edition includes many new and developing topics such as measurement of macromolecules and sub–3 nanometer particles, new particle formation, advances in aerosol mass spectrometry, electrospray and its applications, electrical–sensing aerosol instruments, satellite–based aerosol measurement, and health effects of nanoparticles.
