As a manager, your job is adding value to your organization. But business value is much more than the product you sell or the service you offer; it is built upon the relationship you nurture with your clients. Traditional methods of measuring business value have focused on cost and efficiency but can information technology be designed to offer a different vision of reality?
Lee Schlenker and Alan Matcham have devised the Business Value Matrix™ , a unique tool that will help you focus on factors other than time and money, on the quality of interaction rather than the quantity of transactions, and on human motivation and innovation as the primary source of sustainable competitive advantage.
Drawing on the authors’ own experiences of business success and failure, The Effective Organization provides inspiration and guidance for everyone searching for the means to add measurable value to both their career and their organization.
"I believe this book represents an important milestone in our understanding of how business value is evolving and addresses the challenge of business value whilst delivering tested strategies to build a more effective business organization."
—Sergio Giacoletto, Executive Vice President, Oracle EMEA
